CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY LOCKS

March 13, 2022

We have finally arrived on the second best day in all of college hoops. The day where we see who is in and who is out, so lets get into it.

Richmond vs. Davidson (-4)

Getting into the early game here, we have the coolest mascot name in college sports vs Steph Currys alma mater. The spiders are on their fourth game in four days, and that fatigue will not help them perimeter defensive wise against one of the best three point shooting teams in the country. Plus, if the Spiders win, that will cause Davidson to most likely take Wyoming’s Big Dance ticket so fuck that.

The pick: Davidson -4

Memphis vs. Houston (-3.5)

In maybe the most interesting matchups of the day, we see the tigers of Memphis State and the school where the notorious fraternity Phi Slamma Jamma was born: University of Houston. The Cougars are just 2-4 when giving up 14 or more assists this season. Memphis has assisted on nearly 60% of its made field goals this season and exceeded the mark in every game since November. So I see Penny and the boys rolling

The pick: Memphis ML (+155)

Iowa vs. Purdue (-2)

The Iowa Hawkeyes come into this game against the boilermakers red hot offensively and with a wild shot by Jordan Bohannon, they are sitting here with a chance to take the Big 10 title. However, Purdue is no slouch offensively either so this game will devolve into a shootout. These are the two most electric, high-tempo offenses in the Big Ten. Purdue just so happens to have a 7’4 big man who will dwarf any player on the Hawkeyes and gobble up any board that comes off the glass.

The pick: Purdue -2.5/Over 147.5
