Going into the second week now of a full slate of college football games, its time to capitalize on the confused Vegas Books and make some killer bets. With little enticing games, and only a handful of major conference games being played, there’s lots of wins to capitalize on and lots of BONEHEADS in Vegas who are trying to give us free money. Syracuse +21.5 vs Pitt

No idea why this line could possibly be this big. Pitt has not won a conference game by more than 11 points since 2018. While Syracuse got blown out in the 4th quarter by UNC last weekend, they held their own for a while against a high powered air raid. Syracuse won’t win. But 3 TDs? Easy money.

Louisville -2.5 vs Miami

Miami has given us no reason to believe that they are anything more than they have been in the last few years. With a mediocre looking win over UAB, i don’t believe they have anything going for them besides King. Louisville has more weapons and a more cohesive unit across the board, I expect the Toothy Birds to win by 5.

Marshall +4.5 vs App St.

Appalachian State has been a group of 5 powerhouse fora few years now, but have been notorious for slower starts these last few years. Coaching changes every year can cause that. App St will win but I expect a back door cover to give the Thundering Herd the lock.

Notre Dame vs South Florida O48.5

Notre Dame is clearly the better team here. By far. Notre Dame will get up big in the first half. Talking 28-3 big. They’ll score quick in the 2nd, pull the starters, and their offense will slow down but it will allow for 13+ points for USF and likely another touchdown or 2 for Notre Dame as well. Expect this to cover with 10 minutes left in the 4th.

Baylor -4 vs Houston

Houston is not the same team they were 2 or 3 years ago. After losing King, they have yet to get back on thr right track. While Baylor does not have the same team after losing Matt Rhule to the panthers, they still have enough weapons to win by a touchdown. When it comes to a game being thrown together in the last minute, take the better athletes, and the better conference. Sic ’em.
